Data Processing Addendum

Feed Issue Doctor is designed to minimize personal data processing. V1 does not request customer data or order data.

Where we process personal data on behalf of a merchant, the merchant is the controller and we act as processor only to provide the app.

Processing Scope

• Shopify shop identity and session data.
• Product and variant catalog data needed for scan results.
• Scan issue records, ignored issue fingerprints, and scheduled scan settings.

Retention

We retain up to five completed scans with issue rows and five failed scan metadata records per shop. Temporary catalog snapshots and partial issue rows are deleted when a scan completes or fails. Ignored-issue fingerprints remain until unignore, uninstall, or shop-redact. App-side sessions, settings, scans, issues, ignored records, and shop records are hard-deleted after app uninstall or Shopify shop-redact.

Subprocessors

Expected subprocessors include:

• Shopify, for app installation, authentication, billing, and product catalog access.
• Vercel, for application hosting.
• Neon, for PostgreSQL database hosting.

We use subprocessors only to provide and operate the app.
