Review Shopify catalog issues before submitting product feeds

For merchants cleaning product data used by shopping feeds, without replacing the service that actually submits the feed.

Product instructions reviewed . Interface labels may change; current plan terms are shown in Shopify.

From installation to a checked result

  1. Check catalog compatibility

This release supports up to 100 variants per product and 2,500 variants per scan. Exceeding either limit fails the scan rather than presenting a partial success.

  2. Start a read-only scan

Open the app in Shopify Admin and start a scan. Free covers up to 100 products. Wait for completion and review any failure message.

  3. Review and correct one issue

Use the affected product link and fix hint to inspect GTIN, SKU, image, category or description data. Correct verified information in Shopify; the app does not write it for you.

  4. Rescan before your feed workflow

Run another scan after corrections. Use your existing feed provider to submit products. A clean app result does not guarantee approval by Google or another destination.

Common questions

Does this app submit a Google Shopping feed?

No. It checks selected catalog signals. Your existing channel or feed service still handles submission.

What happens if my catalog exceeds the variant limits?

The scan fails with a compatibility message. Partial results must not be interpreted as a completed catalog check.

Where should I install or manage my plan?

Use the official Shopify App Store listing to install. Open the app from Shopify Admin after installation. Any paid-plan approval happens in Shopify, never through a payment form on this page.
